Resumen La ubicación geográfica, las
condiciones climáticas y los factores hacen que tanto en Ecuador, se presenten
regularmente fenómenos diferentes de origen como: tormentas, inundaciones,
terremotos, erupciones volcánicas, deslizamientos.
Adicionalmente,
la actividad humana orientada irracional y desordenadamente a la explotación de
los recursos naturales deforestación, urbanización, minería, ha contribuido a
la aceleración y de los fenómenos naturales. Son inevitables y es el hombre,
con sus quehaceres degradatorios el que los convierte en catastróficos.

Abstract:
The geographical location, the climatic conditions and
the factors cause that in Ecuador, different phenomena of origin appear
regularly like: storms, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides.
In addition, human activity irrationally and
disorderly oriented to the exploitation of natural resources deforestation,
urbanization, mining, has contributed to the acceleration and natural
phenomena. They are inevitable and it is man, with his degrading tasks that
makes them catastrophic.
