Hydroelectric power plants are plants that generate electricity through a renewable fuel, since they use hydraulic energy to convert it into electrical energy. These power plants take advantage of the
gravitational potential energy by a vertical drop, in their fall the water is passed through the hydraulic turbines that transmit power to an electric generator where it is transformed into electrical energy.
